Every room at Costa Verde was considered individually — no two have identical proportions, and the furnishings were chosen for each space rather than ordered in lots. Check-in is a slow ceremony, the kind that begins at the bar with a cold glass of something local.
The hotel's most-requested room, set on the second floor with uninterrupted ocean views. The bathroom is finished in Calacatta marble with a freestanding tub positioned to face the sea.
Understated and well-proportioned, the Standard Room overlooks the terracotta courtyard. Limestone floors, a queen bed with a cotton-linen blend, and a walk-in rain shower. Unhurried, uncomplicated.
The private balcony is the suite's defining feature — wide enough for a dining table, sheltered by a bougainvillea trellis, and angled to catch the last light of the afternoon. Inside, a king bed and a soaking tub the colour of sea glass.
Two queen beds, 60 generously proportioned square metres, and a sea-facing terrace that fits a family breakfast or a quiet morning coffee with ease. Children are welcome without caveat — there is nothing here they cannot touch.
